A legit dim sum experience. They have the carts being pushed around and the servers that that asked you if you want every item off the cart before they roll away.

We got to the restaurant around 11 and were seated immediately. The restaurant was packed. As soon as we sat down, we were offered items off multiple carts, even before we got offered any beverages. Got a pot of tea to accompany the dim sum we were about to devour. I enjoyed every item we got that included: BBQ Pork Buns, Beef Chow Fun, Har Gow, Turnip Cake, pork and shrimp dumpling, char siu, Pineapple Buns, and fried sesame balls. We enjoyed each of the items, as they tasted authentic and what I grew up with. The chow fun wasn’t super oily which was good. And our favorite was actually the turnip cake. It was a combination of tofu and turnip that was battered and fried and placed in a sauce that was extra tasty.

The restaurant was large and fairly clean. Along the walls had the Chinese decor with dragons and phoenixes.

My family and I were really satisfied with this place as its rare to have good dim sum. Service was so fast but also overwhelming as they bombard with you carts as soon as you sit down.

Must be the best dimsum place in NoVA. It’s a tad pricey but we were seven hungry peeps who rushed in at 11AM. Bill was at $200+ but we added four more desserts and left with three bags of leftover food. Get the pineapple bun! Just do it! (Nite: those buns don’t have any pineapple in it- it’s a custard bun)

The food is flavored well that you don’t have to add soy sauce. Easily comparable to NYC’s Chinatown dimsum.

This place is approved by my bf’s Cantonese parents! While the dim sum was good, it’s the banquet food that I was blown away by. We had like 10 dishes including fish maw soup, sweet and sour pork, stir fried gailan, stir fried choy sum, Peking duck wraps, salted egg yolk battered shrimp, char siu and squid platter, fried rice, fish filet with sautéed veggies, and lobster with e-mein. The stars were definitely the salted egg yolk shrimp and the lobster e-mein. The food came out so fast and generously portioned. Everything was well-flavored and not too oily. The tea was delicious!! I love these traditional large banquet Chinese restaurants and am impressed that they mail both the brunch and dinner menu.

I’m a sucker for king prawn dumplings and shrimp and chives dumplings. I didn’t know how big the shrimp and chives dumplings would be and they exceeded all expectations. We also got the walnut shrimp and crab rangoon which were equally delicious. The service was great and I really liked how big the restaurant was. I can’t wait to come back next month!
